Venostin® Inj. is a parenteral iron preparation manufactured by Dongkook Pharmaceutical in South Korea. It contains Ferric Hydroxide Sucrose Complex (iron sucrose) and is intended for iron supplementation in patients with iron deficiency.
Venostin is used to replenish iron in patients with iron deficiency, particularly in circumstances where parenteral iron therapy has been clinically selected. Iron is required for haemoglobin formation and normal red blood cell production.
